The Owner
After co-building Cumberland Cleaning Co. for 5 years, Hannah Rennie decided to shift and create her own company 'Sonne’. The intention was to hone-in on high quality cleaning services as well as helping people create a lifestyle that promotes well being with a strong focus on slowing down, daydreaming, and creating a life made with intention. Hannah has lived in Cumberland, BC for the past six years with her three wonderful and wild children.
Sonne is a nod to her German heritage. Her mom, Andrea, emigrated from Germany when she was a young woman in the 1980’s. Hannah grew up a child of immigrants, much of what she thought was normal, she has now discovered is deeply rooted in her German heritage. Sonne takes a moment to reflect and embrace those threads woven by the many strong women who came before her. Sonne, at its core, is a vision that hopes to inspire both creativity and daydreaming.
In her free time Hannah is a textile artist who creates costumes for various projects including photography and film.
